ΔΙΑΛΕΞΗ στα πλαίσια του Προγράμματος ERASMUS

θα επισκεφθούν την ΑΣΠΑΙΤΕ στα πλαίσια του Προγράμματος Erasmus και θα δώσουν διάλεξη στα θέματα που φαίνονται αμέσως παρακάτω:
Η διάλεξη θα πραγματοποιηθεί τη Δευτέρα 18/5 και ώρα 10:00 στην αίθουσα 223. Η διάλεξη θα είναι στα αγγλικά (με μετάφραση στα ελληνικά) και η συνολική της διάρκεια εκτιμάται ότι θα είναι περί τη 1,5 ώρα.
Και τα δύο θέματα (ειδικά το πρώτο) είναι εξαιρετικά επίκαιρα.
Στους φοιτητές / στις φοιτήτριες που θα παρακολουθήσουν ολόκληρη τη διάλεξη, θα δοθεί βεβαίωση παρακολούθησης.

- The Environmental Impact of AI-Driven Innovation: Evidence from Advanced Economies
This research examines the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-related patents, income, trade openness, and energy intensity on carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. The results from the methods applied confirm a positive and statistically significant impact of AI-related patents, income, trade openness, and energy intensity on CO2 emissions. Furthermore, the interactive term, which represents the joint impact of renewable energy generation and AI-related patents, has a negative and statistically significant impact on CO2 emissions.
- Recommender Systems: Collaborative Filtering-Serendipity Approach
While online shopping is becoming more and more common, customers started to get recommendation from the system. Customers are trying to find answer for their questions such as “Will I like it? Is it suitable for me? Is that what I am looking for?” Customers expect continuously recommendation. This seminar consists of the meaning of recommender system and the variety of them. It also explains the algorithms.
